<div class="IPBDescription">...to the Mac!</div><a href="http://www.ea.com/article.jsp?sssdmh=dm24.111194&id=mac" target="_blank">http://www.ea.com/article.jsp?sssdmh=dm24.111194&id=mac</a>
They announced it a month ago, but I just heard of it. Hopefully they do well (I can't believe I'm wishing EA well...) so that the Mac gaming market expands further.
The initial 4 titles (3 of which are pretty decent games) are Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Need for Speed Carbon, Battlefield 2142 and C&C 3 Tiberium Wars.
Score for Macs!

Me, and an increasingly larger group of people. Which is probably why EA is moving into the Mac market, because the expected profit margins are most likley high enough for them to make more money, which EA loves.
I'm hoping that more large publishers live VUG follow EA's lead, and that EA expands the Mac product line. Then, there will be enough games for Mac to move people over from the dark side, like Apple is doing with non gamers with the personal computer market.
Yay Apple!

those aren't really mac games though - no one develops just for the mac like they do just for PC.
I'm too used to windows to bother with macs really. I never have problems with my computer so I've no need to switch. I'd probably try linux or something before a mac.
*NIX - Servers, other productivity boxes.
Mac - Heated footrests.
Windows - Gaming boxes, productivity boxes, some workstations.

Ok, I just listed good games from most categories of games, wth do you want? Oh, right I left out FPS games.
Marathon. Nuff said.
BTW, anything from Blizz is just as much a Mac game as PC game by the logic that they develop for both platforms simultaneously.
Also, with Parallels/Crossovers/Bootcamp you can run any PC game on Macs now.
The rabid mac bashing is just kinda silly these days. Previously it was true that just about the only good games for macs were from Blizz/bungie (up until Halo Bungie was just like Blizz in releasing games at the same time). But even then Macs were decent computers (though silly for a gamer).
Personally, I want to pick u pa mac book pro. It has a number of features I like, and I want to pick up a lap top. However, I can't justify the price (as i don't NEED a laptop, and macbooks, like most apple products, are horribly expensive)
