There was the atrocity that was the SH movie, and now SH5 is by someone other than Team Silent... I don't have a good feeling about this. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

Never. Granted, the film managed to get a few things spectacularly right - but only visual/atmosphere. I think about five minutes of the film (sprinkled liberally throughout) were absolutely perfect, but the rest of it was pure garbage; they turned it from something I find beautiful and incredibly unique into a trashy horror movie, and a bland, unappealing one at that.
Lord only knows what they'll do with the film sequel.
On the other hand, I've chatted with one of the artists working on SH5, and he assures me that the team are SH fans and dedicated to making the game a worthy sequel. I'm going to keep talking to him and see if I can get a better feel for what to expect, but honestly I'm not terribly optimistic.
