Still, damn cool.

This is nothing new. Using hydrogen peroxide as a high energy density fuel has been around for ages. James Bond's jetpack from (I think) moonraker ran on it. Once it touches metal it splits into water and heat, producing steam. One of the problems in its use is that you can't store it in a metal tank, or use metal tubes to ferry it around. And it's super-toxic.

Since when did H2O2 become a toxin?
It has just an unhealthy pH due to its reactivity and unbalanced electron load.
It should also be likely to fuel fires, cause it likes to do 2xh2o2->2xh20+o2.
Other than that there is nothing dangerous to it. All you need to do is avoid storing it in closed tanks and then shaking those tanks. Other than that its perfectly handable and comparably safe.

You can spill petrol on your arm. Your arm will get cold. You spill peroxide on your arm and it will eat your skin.

Uh... it is pretty nasty. Most domestic peroxide is super-dilute, to the tune of 2-3%.

I even know of a prof who nearly killed himself, cause he tried to use old peroxide.
