<div class="IPBDescription">New dual vid card setup causes FPS drop.</div>So, I've been gaming with nVidia cards for a long time now. But my new setup is now dual ATI HD2600XTs in Crossfire mode. Half-life 2, Bioshock and F.E.A.R. all run great without hiccups. Yet, now when I play NS, my FPS drops considerably, right around 10-15 fps.
Here's my current setup:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP X2 6000+
Memory: 2 GB
Vid. Card: Dual ATI HD2600XT in Crossfire mode
HD: 200GB
Now, I know some games don't support Crossfire so I even tried disabling it. Still didn't help. I've tried setting the affinity of my CPU to 1 processor for the hl.exe process. No go. I even change ati_npatch to 0 and ati_subdiv to 0. Any other suggestions?

First off, going into the latest Catalyst control panel and disable anything that says "Let the application choose." I did that and set my own anti-aliasing and anisotropic settings. Now NS runs a lot better. I still get some lag but I can't tell if it's the graphics card or if the map itself has issues.
Anyone else have suggestions?
I'm running WinXP 64-bit. I turned off gamma ramp if that's what you were going to suggest.
