follow the directions on <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/download/" target="_blank">The Download Page</a> Exactly.

make sure you have run Half Life 1 at least once (boot up and go through the training course) prior to install.

Yes, HL1, not HL:S, or CS, or anything else, just HL1.

make sure you actually exit Steam (rclick the icon in the taskbar and tel it exit).

    etc etc etc.

if you are still having problems, uninstall the game reinstall, and give us a STEP BY STEP explanation of exactly what you did and where the NS folder ended up.

Alright, I have HL1, was just playing it, so thats right, exited all the way out of steam, then i got the download from the first link, unknown worlds, double click the install icon on the desktop, clicked run, then next, used the default location: c:\program files\steam\steamapps\kcaschetta\half-life, yes to installing even though file name is taken, then install. wait about a minute, then hit finish. boot steam back up. and... holy ###### it works. weird. i did the exact same thing last time. thanks for the help though.
