Mic choping

<div class="IPBDescription">Microphone problems</div>I am having mic problems.

When I am talking to mic, the sound is coming out in series, is being choped.

I have the newest drivers everything, tried out the game with 5 different mic's.

Tried out voice_fadeouttime and everythinh, it works great in all games like on counter-strike:source, but Natural selection.

I just want to <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/asrifle.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::asrifle::" border="0" alt="asrifle.gif" /> right now. hehe

The mic is working fine, but not in ns.

CS:S has no dealings with NS.

if it was CS I would tell you to copy your CFG from one to the other and test it.

Have you tried other HL based games? (CS, DoD, TFC, what ever?)

Jepp, tried out Tf, and half-life, they are giving me a chopping sound too, dont understand why. Geting confused, it works in Counter-strike:source, rainbos six vegas, battlefield 2, every game except for the games using hl1 engine.

Plz help me! hehe

well, as I said.

Try out all the stuff in that guide I posted. It is actually very good.

start up a listen server, put on voice_loopback, and play with stuff to see what does what.

if you DON'T have the problem on a listenserver then it is probably your connection, check net_graph 3 and look at ping/choke/loss

I have tried out voice_loopback 1

And My ping is about 40-50

So, mic only chopp's in hl1 engine games, plizz find a solution mate, I have done everything in the guide.
