no Crosshair

after my ns crashed, I now have no crosshairs, I don't know if theres a command for that I tried to ask people online and Ive searched the forums but nothing seems to work or i didn't find anything, i tried restarting but to no avail. Ive also noticed when my ns crash and the next time i started it, I realized that all my keys where unbound...

help? please? thank you.......

    sorta sounds like a malicious admin. (Yes, admins do have ways of executing commands in your client, including unbindall, quit, etc).

    delete your user.cfg and client.cfg file (err, I think those are the names, can't remember atm <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />), and boot up NS. This should restore all of your settings to default (if client.cfg is not there it will be generated).

    Oh, once you have set everything up the way you like it exit out of NS and set client.cfg to "read only". no more people messing with it.

    userconfig.cfg and config.cfg are the names (at home now).
