Playing Off A Dedicated

<div class="IPBDescription">it is possible but....</div> Everyone, including me, gets lag spikes when i'm playing off it. Is there a solution to this problem? Will it be fixable in the future?

I'm running it off a good computer too
p4 2.2
geforce 4 ti4600
512mb RDRAM

    You computer is just not able to run an NS dedicated server (which often hogs most of the CPU on good computers) and the half-life client at the same time. This causes lag spikes while the HLDS fights for CPU time. Solution: Don't play HL on your dedicated server.
