Ah, so you are using that crappy "intergrated memory" too eh? I'm so sorry to hear that. When I was stationed no the carrier I had nothing but an old Gateway laptop with the same kind of video memory thing going on. But, instead of what you have [probably 64mb shared video memory right?], I had 32! Oh my goodness, barely ran HL1 and NS.... So, what I am tryin to say is, my laptop is so unbelievably old compared to yours, so you shouldn't have any problems. The GPU chip is definitely whats going to hurt you, but you can run it just fine. I don't know about that resolution though, that's one of those weird new ones....

gonna assume that is a laptop? (only 2 RAM slots and crappy integrated video).

Yah, you can run it with no problem.

My one suggestion would be to up your RAM from 2 512 sticks to 2 1gig sticks.

Also, DO NOT install Vista as you will have problems with that amount of ram, I would seriously suggest sticking with XP (or 2K).
