currently has an Intel 945 card
A co-worker of mine was asking what is a good laptop video card. I told him I know nothing about laptop hardware.

He currently has :

Intel 945 video card
running on a MB : Genuine Intel® Express Chipset, with 667MHz

What would be a good game graphic card for this laptop ?

He wants to change the his card because his is crapy with Tiger Wood 2008 golf game.

He is not an FPS gamer.

You talking about on-board? The GeForce series is about as good as they get, dont look for performance in a laptop lol. There are some laptops built with desktop video cards in them though, but watch out for the power usage.

Current card isn't part of the motherboard.

What would be the recommanded minimal model version ?

I find it very very unlikely his card in his laptop is not part of the motherboard... very very VERY unlikely.

None the less, 5 minutes of google gave me This.

Nvidia GeForce Go7950GTX (512MB) is the fastest atm (its faster than the 8600)

Unless he wants to fork out a few grand for a Quadro heh.
