Its a extra physics generator, say the ground shakes, a marine will bobble around. Hit by a skulk, he will stumble back. Explosion? You blow backwards. I think it would be an awesome addition and add a new set of realism to ns2. GTA4 is using it currently. I dunno if it costs a lot though, and if the ns2 team would be willing to buy it to add to ns2.

One of the best features I enjoyed for a game called Undying was when hit by anyone, depending on who hit you, there was an animation. When the howlers slashed you, you would be knocked bacy sort of and on your screen you would see blood effects. I am not talking about the crappy "red screen flashes" seen in other games, I mean it would look like slashes on your screen being "drawn" and blood would sort of spew across. It was a great effect! I don't know why we don't see these in most newer games....
Anyways, I love any ideas/anything that adds to a game like this. I hope they either go for it, or add something along these lines. Great post!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pudgy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::gorge::" border="0" alt="pudgy.gif" />
