Gorges, Turtles? oh wut.

<div class="IPBDescription">Ideas for gorgies.</div>After listening to the 5th podcast, was thinking about the gorge ideas and whatnot. Thought it would be a good idea to just spam some ideas around.
Maybe on dynamic infestation there could be like pods that occasionally grow in random places that can be collected by gorges and stored in pouches on their back. The pouches could behave like snake mouths so they are normally flat and when a gorge eats a pod it gets moved into these stretchy pouches on its back.
This idea of pods growing on the infestation could be used as a basis for logic behind alot of abilities, making it controllable how many are available. where they are available and when etc...
One idea for gorge self preservation:
When in a confrontation the gorge can excrete one of these packages that are full of a kinda fast expanding jello foam goo stuff that makes a small structure that fits to a specific area and is very sticky to marines, however it only has a short half-life, lasting a total of 5 seconds. So its deployed as a goo that is squirted on the ground and then it foams up allowing a gorge to make a short sticky wall or obstacle to hide behind or to barricade a tight passage.
