<div class="IPBDescription">Bela Fleck and the Flecktones performing "Hoedown"</div>Check this out. It's worth staying to the end.

On stage we have steel drums, tabla, drums, banjo, sax put through a harmonizer, bassoon, electric bass, and some sort of whistle that I don't recognize, the best bass player alive, and potentially the best banjo player ever, with many other virtuosos performing a bluegrass/rock arrangement of "Hoedown" by Aaron Copeland (probably the most famous American composer.)
I get giddy every time I watch this. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
Edit: oboe-> bassoon.

I said <i>alive</i>, but you are free to disagree <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />. (And actually, if you know enough to disagree, you are probably right.)
It's a common rookie mistake, he couldn't have been expected to recognize the glorious bassoon, after all the oboe is the much more widely recognized and "popular" musical instrument.
Not like us musical upper class.
