Skip Vista and get a 320MB card instead of a 640MB card, and spend the extra money on a better mobo and proc, or just a better mobo since you can swap out the proc later. I'd just get a normal case but if you have some reason for wanting a smaller one then go ahead.

Sorry, I'm not up to date on small cases and micro ATX mobos, so I can't really suggest any. That card is HUUUUGE though so I'd be careful to make sure it fits in your small case.

So, by all logic, it won't fit.

Gotta learn the rules of the internet, boyo.

"Only" the GTS sounds reasonable until you hold the things in your hand and realize how huge it is. I have one of those in my Antec Sonata III right now, and let me tell you, it's tight. Another half inch and it would never fit. I dunno what the dimensions of a Micro ATX case are like, but if random Internet people say you're fine, well, what could go wrong?

Well, you could always whip out the dremel and cut a big hole in your case. Have like 2-3" of the card protruding out the side of your case... it would be like modern art. "I call this the 'Nvidia cards to too ######ing huge' computer mod. "

    minitowers are style over substance

unless you've got disposable cash and already have an uberrig, go with conventional atx gear
