On the <a href="https://encore.siggraph.org/online/Siggraph/default.asp" target="_blank">Siggraph website</a> you can watch over 1100 videos presentations from SIGGRAPH 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007 for free! But only until October 31st! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

It uses Quicktime, but they've got interesting ones.

Such as the famous one on "Seam Carving for Content-Aware Image Resizing"

Name some of those you think are cool <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> Since there's several days worth of videos...

So if you have any interest in the state of development in computer graphics, it's worth watching.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->a while ago my Quicktime get kept crashing whenever i watched any videos. I Googled a bit and found out that the problem comes when it uses DirectDraw.

if you go into Quicktime preferences there should be an advanced tab, uncheck the 2 checkboxes "Enabled DirectDraw acceleration" and possibly the other one about secondary monitors (I don't know if this has any affect). and then the videos should work. Smile unless it is a different reason for crashing<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Did you try using the latest Quicktime?
