At minimum you could actually try to construct a thread without flaming right off the bat. This video was interesting and, in some places, funny. Just because it's Sgt. Waffles doesn't mean the thread will be crap.

That would be imho the absolute minimum to get a thread rolling. I don't care if people make short replies. But when everyone who sees a video posts a new thread, then there is so much to read in OT, that I usually miss the good threads.

Agreeing with Faskalia. These single video - no thread - threads are pointless. I could except this kind of thread if the lack of ANY words was a stylistic effect. I.e. If the link was to a controversial video of the president getting his junk powdered on a sidewalk by a prostitute with no arms. That would explain the lack of words as "I am speechless, so are you, see the video and excuse me while I get my thoughts together and write my views and opinions."
Just linking to this kind of stuff... like he has done for, what, six, seven times? It's getting old. I will agree that my comment was flame, but I figured a mod would join in and tell something to 'someone who needs to get a clue. - - Okay, the video was in my opinion mediocre. It presents itself as a funny look on some of (three) zombies (or not) of a couple of games. It failes to be funny, and I don't agree with their views on the half-life zombie. I don't think zombies are limited to the being the ones that die a natural cause get a funeral and goes stiff in the ground, only to resurface at midnight. That might have been the old zombie movie, but the hl zombie is a zombie. The RE4 ones are ofcause not, because of they humanlike interactions, zombies don't care about eachother - they care only for that next sweet brainfix. Or in the HL case, something to hit and toss things at.
The video was boring, and I bet that we can look forward to a lot of equally bad threads onwards. I guess I could blissfully go peel a video off gamespot, say, their tournament TV on quake wars and post a thread about it. No wait, not a thread <i>about</i> it. Just a thread with the link to it in. GG.
