Dual Monitors?

Will NS2 fully support dual monitors? Although the source engine already supports dual monitors, I’m stuck with the crosshair in the middle of the screen which makes it very difficult to aim (especially since my monitors are two different sizes). It would be nice if on two monitors the crosshair would be in the middle of one monitor and the second monitor would just extend to field of view of that particular side.
It would also be nice to see NS2 support more than two monitors.

We can't promise we'll support dual screens, but it is something we'd like to do.

Just thinking J with a lua editable HUD, duel monitars should be easy and worth is, you could play on one screen and have all your HUD information on the other, suddenly you consistantly have a map open. Coming becomes easyer. All sorts of whacked things, multiple arangments of the hud on a seperate window would be awsome.

    This is true.

Having dual monitor support would be really nice but the problem is if people dont have dual's u dont want them to be missing out on something.

With all RTS games and a big lack in duel monitor support, I've always used the right click to move the camera around. After a few years I'm quite good at it.

That would be amazing, really. I got my two 21 inc wide screens ready to go!

i used think that dual montiors were awesome, then i got a widescreen - its not quite as much screen space but i dont have a bar in the middle of my screen now <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
so why not make use of the extra side bits that widescreens offer - especially for the commander - something like the vista sidebar perhaps?
