<div class="IPBDescription">...ns_nothing.</div> Wow. I played this map for the first time last night. Which is odd, cuz I was really looking forward to seeing this map in action before the release. Anyhoo, yeah, wow. The atmosphere in that map is great. Words don't really describe it but here's how I "started in the map".
I was a marine, ran out of base to explore for a bit was coming up to an intersection, and just saw a skulk rush across the hall in front of me (exactly like in the trailer.) One of the creepiest things I've seen in a game in a long time. Okay... I run back to my base like a little girl and on my way, I come into one narrow hallway with some beautiful lighting and fog effects. A skulk comes around the corner in front of me and disappears into the darkness. FLASH what the hell FLASH its a freaking skulk running at me, I fire away and it leaps through the air, disappearing as he goes into the shadow and FLASHING back in the light! I'm firing my lmg in every freaking direction and FLASH again all I see is the CLAWS and the screen goes black. Wow. That was STRAIGHT out of a movie.

lol, from your title, I thought this was a CS kiddie ranting about the lack of an AWP or ski-masks. Mabye you should have put down ...ns_nothing, instead of ...nothing.

I agree, <b>ns</b>_nothing is an amazing map, very atmospheric.

That's nothing. Er, I mean, that's not much. I was in the tram tunnel in bast, right near the alien hive. I knew they knew I was there, because I was parasited. I keep begging the commander for backup, and finally I hear "Where are you? I'm on the way." So I'm looking into the little room, see, waiting for by backup, and I swear, a skulk pops out of that room RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE, just like in the trailer, only it happened three times faster. One moment, clear, next moment, skulk-face. My body was flooded with adrenaline and it stayed that way till about 3 seconds after I died. I think I swore at the skulk in caps.

Yeah ANOTHER good point of the mod makers there aint one stinker map either in gameplay OR looks...

I believe some of the maps should be a bit darker though, I noticed if you have: "Gamma 5" "Lambert 5" and "brightness 5" most of the maps don't have any dark spots at all.

This makes it a bit harder for some aliens to kill marines, because they can always see them.
The maps themselves are beautiful though, I just feel they need more darkness.
