<div class="IPBDescription">and bask in its retro-futuristic glory!</div>For those of you who haven't seen this on Slashdot: <a href="http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2007/11/retro-future-to-stars.html" target="_blank">Soviet era space exploration art</a>.

Here's an example of one of my favorites:

because it suggests massive longevity. I wish more people still had this much optimism for space exploration.

P.S. 'Proletariat' is a funny looking word.

    I can't say I like the style; it's too old-school and "cheesy" if that even makes sense.

    It wasn't cheesy back then. The quality of some of the scans is lacking, though.

    I think its great, awsome find.

    I love how they think that miles into the future they are still going to be wearing the same clothes as they did back then.
