Cant seem to find NS on my steam list?

Hi, a friend of mine told me about this "Natrual selection" and i thought i should check it out.
Now, i don't got HL1, i got it "Pre-loaded" though. So i probably got all the files.
I've installed the game now (after hell of alot "This setup is corrupted, get another copy") and now it wont show up in my steam list!
What the hell?
And i aint got no manual .exe file i can boot it from so, how do i do?
Couldnt find any other topics with this probem so i created a new one.
