Scratched my LCD monitor

<div class="IPBDescription">Fixes?</div>I accidentally scratched my Dell 3007WFP 30" monitor a bit today. The scratch isn't extremely noticeable, but with bright colors behind it, it's definitely there. So far from googling around it seems like people have tried CD repair kits, some kind of product call Displex, and Mr. Clean magic eraser pads.

Since I'd rather not make this any worse, and I don't trust the general internet populace to give me good information. I'm wondering if anyone here has attempted to fix an LCD screen before. Lay solutions/experiences on me here.

    Only thing you really can do is buy a new one, if you can feel it with your fingernail there is nothing you can do to cover it up.

    For anyone that cares. I finally got my hands on the magic eraser pads and they really really helped. When the monitor is off the scratch is still visible. But the main annoyance of distorting all the colors when the monitor is on is very reduced.

    I'm guessing half the problem of an LCD scratch is the dirt that gets in it, and I'm guess the pad is way better at getting that out than a microfiber cloth and water.

    Where would I be able to get that product? I have a small scratch on my laptop screen and its really irritating me. Anything to improve the backlight light passing through it would be great.
