Wii have a problem

<div class="IPBDescription">no interwebz for wii</div>My brother and I have become stumped as to why our Wii is unable to connect to the net, so I turn to you people. Wii gives us error code 52130, which isn't much help in Google or Nintendo Support. Our router is a WRT54GX2. The encryption key has been double and triple checked, MAC filtering is set up properly, the Wii does see the SSID and when testing the connection the router's log does say something happening from the Wii's MAC, but is not helpful in telling what the problem is. Tried both DHCP and static settings... tried the wireless settings on G and G/B along with trying various specific channels... nothing seems to work <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> Any ideas?

what channel are you trying to run on?

Had problems before I switched to either 1 or 11 (it is a known issue)

I would also suggest trying to disable all security ans seeing if it works.

the wii is just mongo like that, i occasionally let it go on the net to get updates, but i find i have to turn most if not all of my security settings off on the wireless router. but the funny part is sometimes i dont have to do this and it works.
And then other times it won't work not matter what, it'll connect to the wireless but not to the net

i guess you can always try getting a firmware update for your router (make sure you back up your settings first!)

I had the same problem when I set mine up. The only thing that worked for me was removing all security from the router (as schkorpio said), changing the channel (as Thansal said), and then setting the MAC address (which you've already done). After the connection was established, I immediately ran the updater then went back and replaced my router security.

    Haven't had a problem since.

    Channel: tried 1 and 11

Get a Wi-Fi Dongle I guess. My friend's having the same problem with his Wii and DS', none want to connect to his damn router so we're going to try the Dongle.

If anyone cares, I figured it out... the Wii didn't like that our LAN was not a 192.168.X.X range... though I'm entirely unhappy with that and am going to be contacting nintendo to complain/ask about stuff <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
