Complete installation - But no way to get into game

Hi guys , sorry if this posts sounds weird or maybe a waste of time to you guys.
I just installed NS into my computer but for some reason, i just can't find the icon or the pathway to enter the game. I am currently using my friend's acc to play ns since i don't have half life but last time when i installed NS , it worked fine and the game would appear in the game list.
However this time round, after i installed it, i could not find the application to enter NS or the shortcut.. i am not sure why. I tried to restall ns for 3 times , still to no avail.
Thanks if you can figure out my problem and sorry if this thread has ever been repeated.
I really want to get into the game. =(
