<div class="IPBDescription">3d movie</div>While reading about another Cameron`s project (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_angel" target="_blank">battle angel</a>), I found that he chose to work on one called "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar_%28film%29" target="_blank">Avatar</a>". This movie is about a future where aliens can use human bodies as avatar so they can have a physical existance. One marine undergoes genetic transformations so once combined with one alien, he can still remain in control. Sigourney Weaver is part of the cast.

Seams like an interesting movie I would want to see.

James Cameron is working on alot of interesting movies and pushing technology foward.

Also, there was a mention about a movie adaptation of "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar:_The_Last_Airbender" target="_blank">Avatar:The last airbender</a>". There was a bit of mix up about the ownership of the title.

I saw beauwolf in 3D recently and it is very impressive. I think they used to many gimmicky tricks in it though and I was more impressed by the general depth to the picture than the occasional "omg they're coming right for us" moments. This is the first 3D tech that has ever impressed me in anyway, and i'd certainly fork out a bit of extra cash to see a movie in this format.

I'm not sure how widespread this new 3D tech is. I know that there are only two cinemas in Ireland that show it, and we have a very modern cinema infrastructure ( i.e. 100% digital distribution for about 3 years now ).
