Installation of NS

I purchased counter-strike source 6 months ago. My brother recently sent me half life 2 as a gift through Steam (which I downloaded yesterday). Is it possible to play NS through my current setup or is an original copy of HL required to be purchased through steam in order to play NS?

    yeye, half-Life 1 (old) and the Counter-Strike Condition ZERO is avadaible too to install NS.

    other Counter Strikes is NOT good to install NS to your STE AM ACC.
