I know, I was sitting here hoping for a podcast as well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />. Ah well there is always next week.
We are always hungry for news <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> . Podcast and videocast are funny and we all enjoy with them, though personally I think it would be nice to see some more relevant content like gametesting screenshots, modeling and mapping stuff, something real about NS2 is it too early for this or developers don't have plans to shown any real content until game is near to be finished ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
O cmon now, you have much to talk about: eating habits of poor Devs, sleeping habits, and how sometimes Devs 'roleplay' their characters and film themselves. So much to talk about! So little time!

Terminators? Or the ###### progeny of KIT from Knight Ryder?
that sucks i was looking forward to a podcast. Oh well hopefully the next one has a lot of beef, I think you guys really need to show some stuff and get people excited as i am. According to the forum statistics a lot of people have lost interest in this game. Hopefully it becomes successful though.
I would prefer if the developers spend their time developing the game instead of recording empty chatter. If you're listening to UW podcasts just for entertainment - there are hundreds of other places on the internet that specialize in that.
I didn't mean it in a harsh way at all. Just like you, i listen to UW podcasts because they <u>interest</u> me: new information about NS2, inner workings of game development company, struggles and rewards of working in a small business - these are just some of the things I look forward to every week. Podcasts are also entertaining, but if i just wanted to be amused, i'd go to collegehumor or other silly sites like that.
I'm glad to hear that you're not "listening to UW podcasts <b>just </b>for entertainment," but also because it interests you! I detect a hostile tone, but don't see why. Are you trying to teach me? - You needn't tell me that obvious connection.
Someone once said "You cant have things that are cool without things that suck."
Expecting the devs to set week-range goals impressive enough to post in podcasts limits them. I'd rather wait and see real progress and go "Wow cool!"
This also gives the team more time to mull over community input from I&S (you guys do check those forums now and again right?) for any merit it may or may not have.
Not to downplay how entertaining the podcasts are - I'm saying this because I think it benefits the dev team, and in turn, the product they're working on.
It wasn't a hostile tone, so much as an impatient one.
But anyway, there's a new podcast coming up. I was hoping to see it when I woke up this morning, but nothing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

...No podcast, Bah!
I wanna here more about them! The 3rd RACE!
Excellent, I'm looking forward to that.
