its pretty fair to say that if there is no podcast then they are hard at work on ns2.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Yeah guys sorry there's no podcast today(cp_well finishes loading). We had(max scatterguns flayra and starts to take middle) a super busy day today(flayra baseball bats max) and didn't have time to record one(omg newb! max goes heavy and mows down flayra at 2nd cap point then switches back to scout). We're not tired of making them though!(max takes back middle point) Good things are afoot.(flayra bats max again)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Careful you might upset some of the fanboys, by mearly wondering why there is no podcast. So to anyone who flames obsid for wondering he simply has more interest in ns updates then you do. Personally I am just not going to check the website but once a month from now on. That way it wont be a let down if nothing is posted =)
Honestly there's no reason to start accusing the devs of slacking off - if they were, they'd only be hurting themselves as this is their company, and beyond that, it'd become glaringly apparent very quickly if nothing were happening behind the scenes - especially with the frequency of news updates they've implemented recently.
Here's looking forward to the next update. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lerk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::lerk::" border="0" alt="lerk.gif" />
* Apparently t.i.t.s was censored
As do I. I think all of the fans appreciate the blog updates, but remember that's not UWE's most important usage of the updates: it's a marketing tool that can get others interested in the game even though it hasn't released.
My theory is that the more frequently updates are released the more people will start following regularly. It doesn't even have to be signifigant. Heck if people on YouTube and MySpace can get huge fanbases from simply chronicling their daily lives... I mean, Max, do you realize how many people would just tune in out of curiosity if we got regular insight into a game's development? I realize the difficulty is in making the broadcasts regular -- keeping with it. But it might be worth considering the benefits too.

I know <i>i</i> wont be going anywhere...
Am sorry. And to show you how sorry I am, I am posting something everyone should watch!

Me, personally, I'm beginning to lose interest in the forums + I have higher priorities. So eventually, all I'll be coming for are progress updates, and possibly making a comment post for blog updates.
I'll stick around a while longer though.
We'll be back this Friday (or before) with some news to share!
If you beat Duke Nukem Forever to release, I will be even more pleased. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
We're sorry you're sick! Hope you feel better soon.

HAHAHA Great stuff! I see Duke as the most pirated game ever for PCs.
Setting the bar really high there eh? lets see they have only been in development for 11 years.
Clearly getting well trumps podcast.... hope your feeling better.
