    I have a cheapo usb headset that came with my phone. The PS3 will send all VC to the headset, so that's not a problem. There's a really great guide on the PS forums rating all of the usb headsets out there. I'm probably going to buy something a little better at some stage, but not just yet.

    I don't know if any of you got into the MGO beta. It's open to the public in Europe, but I think you have to pre-order MGS4 in the US to get into it. If you do make it in, my konami game id is -puzlar-

    Just got the preorder for it and im ready to play on saturday! Also just picked up GT5P and really enjoying it on my Sharp 52'' HDTV

    I heard that Gran Turismo 5 was just a demo or something like that because 60 cars on a GT just isn't right. (I have it btw). I"m assuming it will be downloadable updates for more cars?

    Probably explains why it was so cheap. =x

    I'll add you later rad! Try motorstorm online, it's a much much better experience. The online play in the game is rock solid and is IMO the only reason to load up that game anymore.

    Guys, MGO is lots of fun. It's a public beta in europe so the servers are packed. I'm not sure if we can play with the closed beta participants in the US, but I'd be up for it.

    It's such a funny game. I never played any MG before, but I did watch my brother play it a few times. But, it's hilarious to hit another player with a tranq dart and then roll a grenade down a slope and watch him go boom. My favourite is to camp near a box and wait for players to come up and kick it.

    I also was weak yesterday. I ended up picking up the game for my brother when his pre-order fell through. So when I was in there I caved to the hype and bought GTA4 for myself too. I have to say that so far, the game is extremely impressive. I'm not sure if I'll make it all the way through it or not, but for now I'm certainly enjoying it.

    tiger: what do you think of warhawk? The warhawk combat is superb, but I get annoyed with the third person infantry combat. The game would be a lot better if it had an option to play infantry in first person.

    Warhawk is awesome, I downloaded one of the other map packs they released.

    I have yet to open up my GTA4 and I too also have the MGO beta. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    Oh yeah, I recently bought a bluetooth headset from Mad Catz. A hefty 50$ usd, but I'm liking it so far. I'm having a blast playing COD4 with Tigersmith. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    I have a bluetooth headset that came free with my phone, so the battery life is not designed around gaming sessions. I'm planning to buy the headset that sony are releasing to coincide with the new version of SOCOM. There's also one coming out for MGS4, I think they are the same basic hardware but will be 'branded' for both games.

    I just got my copy of COD4 back on Sunday, I had swapped with a friend for his copy of Uncharted. Uncharted is a very good game, possibly the best single player game i've yet enjoyed on my PS3 with the possible exception of COD4. The game is short though, being about 14-18 hours play, so you could get away with renting it for a week.

    Considering the PS3 is supposedly less popular than the 360 it was a lot harder to find an unused name.

    Currently playing GT5 prologue, Formula 1 and Resistance. Also Metal Gear Online when MGS4 arrives.

    Quick request for help- after setting up my PS3, 3 of the 40GB was already used, but unlike the 360 it doesn't seem to be pre-installed with videos and songs- so where is this 3GB? Surely the O/S isn't that big? Bit worried about disk space when GT5 alone used 6 (or 8) GB!

    I played the MGO beta, it's good fun but I don't think I'll be buying MGS4 though. My next purchase will be WipeoutHD.

    If you can pick up Uncharted, I recommend it, but you can probably rent it for a week and easily beat it before you return it.

    You can upgrade your hard drive really easily using an off the shelf laptop sata drive without voiding your warranty. I'm not sure if 40GB is enough with all of these mandatory installs, but it should be enough to have 4-6 games readily available at any time. E.g. 160GB drive for 50 of your 20th century pounds.

    Can't wait for WipeoutHD, that game is going to be pure secks.

    As for Metal Gear Solid 4...bleh. The Beta Online was HIGHLY disappointing and lacked any balance what so ever.

    What fun is it when you are with your team and all of a sudden you have hearts above your head and you can't move until your next respawn, or being in a choke hold and you're instantly screwed because there is no way out of it or it's bugged lol.

    I'm just going to borrow that game from a friend for single player when he's done with it.

    As for GT5:Prologue, I might trade in my copy and just get GRID. I love the drifting in that game. 2.5million points on the drift track on the demo. I have pic proof if you demand it haha.
