cl_dlls/client.dll differs from server

I got the newest Ns and still i get the error, "Your .dll [cl_dlls/client.dll] differs from server". Any idea why this happens?

If you're certain you have the latest version of NS installed it's possible the server you joined had an older version running.

Does this happen to you if you try to join several different servers?

yeah, iv tried joining several servers.

in that case, you don't have the most recent client.

I downloaded the newest version today... From that exact location, i had Ns before and when i had that problem the first thing i thought was that i would just download it again.

You have steam installed?
HL is installed and up to date?
You have removed any old versions of NS? (folder names would be either NS or NSP)

Really thought that the install would overwrite the files when it asks me if i want to do that, well anyways, its working now. Thanks For helping me =) Going to bang my head against the wall now due to missing something that obvious.

heh, it was probably that you last install was a beat install and thus was in NSP, new one is a release, thus in NS (iirc)
