Colonial Marine Animations

<div class="IPBDescription">Bugged</div>Does anyone have a colonial marine model from aliens that has updated animations, as well as smartgun animations? I want to use these avp packs but the marines get all glitched out when i reload or throw a grenade. And with all the compulsive reloaders out there, my marines look glitched 90% of the time : /

    They must be too old. I know the third person reload animations weren't implemented until 3.0b6, and I think the hand grenades were introduced only a little sooner than that.

    I assume those models use the default animations? You'll have to decompile them and then recompile them with the new animations

    Yeah, but i thought that there would be some moderately heavy qc editing for that. I kinda don't know what i'm doing. I've edited qc files in the past simply for weapon origins, but thats about it. Would i just decompile the default and compile it with those anims? I also have to make sure i keep the smartgun animations too, however.

    Sorry, I've never used the AvP models, so I'm not familiar with any custom animations they might have. I suggest editing the .qc and compiling the model as best you can. Use <a href="http://www.wunderboy.org/apps/jhlmv.php" target="_blank">Jed's HLMV</a> to check out the animations.

    I have a colonial marine with default reload animations that I made sometime ago. It works perfectly with all weapons, though don't support smartgun animations, only classic hmg reload ones. If i can and got permision I'll upload to fpsbanana website <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />

    decompile a default model and a the colonial marine model, copy over the reload animations -only- from the default to the colonial marine, add in the animations to the .qc file, compile, enjoy your aids.
