Disconnect after a few min

Yo all. I have been busy with other things, games etc so I have been away from NS for a while.

I just reïnstalled my windows, NS etc. Only now I seem to always disconnect without any special error message after a few minutes ingame.
Firewall and router seem to be set ok.

Anyone have any ideas? Did I forget something like a bug orso?
I would use search but this 'new' search function came up dry (and is a horror to use)

    1) Disconnected? just from the server, or the game exists?
    2) If it does not crash, there has to be a disconnect message in the console, check that out.

If it is a crash, then system specs.

if it is a disconnect, going to assume you have tried lots of servers?
    Try different HL based mods?
    What about other steam games?
    other games in general?

all HL based games, all servers. usually get a similar error after I pressed the ok that I have been disconnected:

    Netchan_Clear() : reliable length not 0, reliable_sequence: 22, incoming_reliable_acknowledged: 0

I am already into entity flush when this happens. I have 0 loss or choke for the entire period I am ingame, untill I finally get thrown in entity flush. netgraph 1 shows a red line, netgraph 3 shows no loss or choke.

its odd but I got it working.
I use the ratescript from steampowered to test rates. on the slow setting (lower then the standard of rate 7000) it worked.
I can only estimate my new wifi adapter (which is better) is more strict in sending data. (I had serious lag on the old adapter whatever rate I picked)

So it seemed a odd rate isue

    ah HA!

    wifi can do screwy things in general <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

well, glad it is working (despite me not doing anything to help tbh)

yeh well I was kinda pissed for not being able to solve it directly when it happened. Networking is something I work with alot and especially wifi should not be a problem. I dont think its a problem I run on 'slow' rates since its still better then 56k rates XD. I have great ping, no lag, no warping.

gaming on wifi can be done with ease aslong as you setup your hardware and software well. (I hate games which disallow rate tweaks hehe)

I'm getting this also and have been for a long time.

I now can't play any NS servers for more than about 1 min. On other games I sometimes only get this problem on the first server I connect to - very weird!
