Question About Marine Turrets

<div class="IPBDescription">Disabling the turrets</div> I've seen a few threads where people have said that you can disable the turrets by taking out the marine turret factory. Surely this can't be the case. It even says in the helpful info when building these that you can recycle them once the turrets have been made.

    Yeah this is the case, and I like it.
    It has made it alot easier for aliens to take out marine establishments, all they have to do is go for the turret factory.

    In v 1.0 it was nearly impossible to take out a marine outpost with 4 turrets as a skulk/gorge
    And if the marines were nearby you couldn't do it as a lerk either, so you'd have to have two hives to become a fade, and by that time they might have established enough to have half the map or more.

    But it's alot more balanced now, hurray!

    Indeed, I aprove of this change as well. Its forced a lot more tactical thinking on the commander, requiring them to strategicaly postion the factory and turrets, and build redundant factories when resources permit.
