Im talking matches here.

It leaves the commander with about 27 resources, and the towers you secure quickly get resources coming in soon. Building 2 turrets and leaving a marine in the base temporarily, in my experience, is more effective than mining the bejesus out of your entire base. Skulks can just crawl along the ceiling, where most people forget to mine. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> I still use mines and all, but not as much as I used to.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Thats why you play with people that mine the ceilings of the doors too. You need maybe 2 packs of mines per one door, depending on size.
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Well, any resources you may have saved using your build order get eaten up here, no doubt. You claim his build order "eats way too many resources," and then you go on to say your build order does the same thing, but at a later time.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And it pays right back, because the resources are well defended. In general, I just push push and push, 2 Hives within 15 minutes is good. If you honestly think I contradicted myself, then you arent thinking hard enough.
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->I thought that mines damaged buildings? Wouldn't this blow up a Phase Gate if you mine right up next to it?<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Then build another. Surely you can add more Phase Gates, you already have 2 anyway. I have played against a good Alien team who beat us because I didnt realize to defend the Phase Gates. 2 Onos' in the middle of your base does not bode well.
1. As soon as you know a location with a phase gate is lost beyond all redemption, recycle the phase gate. An Onos in the middle of your main base indeed does not bode well.
2. Stick mines behind CC and turret factorys. Stops cheeky skulk/lerk attacks <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Yes, it damages the buildings a bit, but it's better then no building at all.
