Microphone problems

<div class="IPBDescription">any ideas?</div>So I have a USB logitech ultra vision that has the built in mic, it was working fine in NS, but stopped working. Steam can recognize it, and so can skype, it works but not in NS.

The only recent hardware change to the comp was when I deactivated the front panel sound and made the line out and the mic jack on the back of the mobo turn on. This was when the microphone stopped working

Any clues

Did you check the volume settings in the windows control panel? I don't know why they would have changed but maybe they did.

yes I have, and yes they are at acceptable levels

Have you tried recording with it?

yes, my usb mic responds inside steams mic test, and works for skype

however in NS no bueno

but my traditional mic which I just plugged into the mic in works ingame, but just not the usb mic

Thansal you let me down, I would have thought you would be all over this one

oh btw, it randomly fixed itself...

It now works ingame, and I don't know why.

But I will take it
