I hope it works, and that I didn't just give someone a million telemarketer calls. Their privacy policy says they don't keep the phone numbers and don't reserve the right to do so, but still.
I'd just like to apologise to Cyndane <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> Or whoever that cell phone number on her Facebook belonged to.

I get it though. I'm seriously considering rickrolling one of my friends. The other day he got me good with a rickroll, and this would be the ultimate comeback.

This is the most sane I have felt in years. It only makes sense that every poster on the internet tries to make a difference and bring peace to the boards where they post. Tension between forum members does not do anyone any good and just makes everyone feel bad. I can only hope that in time that you all repent. Nobody is innocent in this regard.
I know some of you may find it difficult to admit your mistakes, but you will be thankful when you have no more secrets to hide.
In the past I have gone out of my way to destroy Tycho's reputation on this board and I must seek forgiveness. Tycho, please find it in your heart to forgive me.
Also, I wish they had Rick Rolling in Australia. I hope they make it worldwide soon.
y'know, I suspected you were being sarcastic but wasn't sure... until I saw your new sig and burst into a fit of giggles.
Nice =3
I know the tune that's used for the whole rickrolling and I guess I kinda get the idea of misleading people with links for mischief, but... I can't make the two connect in my head. If it was going to be for fun like that surely something sudden that gives you a fright would be better? =o

I think the internet has grown past that point. You open a link and you expect some sort of shock scare or strange image. I think the concept of the rickroll is less about scaring people or shocking people, and just breaking out normal comedy (or embarassing someone with pop 80s music. You're not going to see your friends' face when they go "ahhh" from some random goatse picture or something, but the rickroll is less distateful to a wider audience. You could rickroll a 70 year old woman, and she's probably not going to understand it, but then you've got confusion and embarassment instead of anger or disgust (or giving an old woman a heart attack with a shock scare).
The rickroll is great because it is so unexpected. Personally, I enjoy the duckroll much, much more (comedic value ++ ), but the rickrolling has that sort of benign prankster feel to it, unlike shock and horror 'rolling'.

I don't hate everything.
Just everyone.
Better Solution: Try it on five friends' phones.

/me grabs voipbuster and sets sound recording to "What-u-hear" and starts Rick Roll clip.
"please do not annoy people or abuse this service."
and here I thought the 'service' *was* a way to annoy people, by definition.
Hooray for being the guinea pig.

oh, you poor deluded fool.
This isn't to annoy, it is simply to spread the greater good of this wonderful song, and have everyone enjoy it!
And if there is a little trickery involved, well every one laughs in the end, right?
