<div class="IPBDescription">Small, unrefined idea.</div>Ok, a idea just hit me, how everyone decides to spend res on going onos, or fade? Lock it and then you have to recieve some sort of rank to use a higher level form?
Same for marines, i guess they get stupid and forget how to use a HMG or HA lol
I dunno, its just a light idea, agree with it or disagree. Its not a set in stone OMFG NO idea, its something im playing with.

What do you see as the problem? How is this idea the solution? And the part I don't understand what you are getting at is the <i>how</i> and <i>why</i>?
Besides, it <i>is</i> already "locked" in a sense by the need to get resources to get those technologies/upgrades/lifeforms, but you are suggesting an additional restriction of... what exactly?

A lot of people whine about this idea because of one reason or another, but it doesn't change the fact that this implementation, though a little harsh, would solve a lot of the problems of pub servers, and would have virtually no effect on clan play.

It would solve problems maybe but introduce more new ones in the form of your skilled fade who's defending the hive has to allow/deny/cancel NSPlayer going onos, GoodPlayer2 going Fade, and HelpfulPlayer going gorge/lerk.
Lets just hope the dev's new ideas won't need such drastic restrictions.
