Outside of NS OT
<div class="IPBDescription">the web out there...</div>I'm not sure if this is kosher discussion here but since we have similar webbed topics I figured it's worth a shot. Shut me down if it isn't.
With all the newfangled web technologies I feel like I can be closer to my friends than ever (eerily so, sometimes). The problem is that we're getting to a point where there's so many social networking sites, mashups and web 2.0 apps that it's hard to keep track of who is where.
I'm happily part of the NS group on <a href="http://www.last.fm/group/Natural+Selection+Forums" target="_blank">Last.fm</a> and one of the <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/actions/Search?T=ClanAccount&K=%22natural+selection%22" target="_blank">127</a> Steam Community groups related to NS, so I'm asking where else are you? Where should I be?
I'd love to e-stalk you on Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, Facebook, MySpace, your blog, your vlog and other places – is it okay if we just have a big linking party to places outside of NS OT?

And large amounts of roffles about the 12t NS Steam groups <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Im also a member of the steam NS group.
As far as non-ns related sites I regular, I'm on the EvE forums occasionally. I'm also a registered SA goon (regular GBS and TCC). I post on both EvE and SA forums under the name "Mr. Popadopolis". Also I browse the various *chans on the random occasion.

There's hardly any of us on there sadly.
In roughly this order:
RockPaperShotgun (honest, international PC Gaming news by long-time UK gaming journalists, includes indie and webgames)
<acronym title='Unknown Worlds Entertainment'>UWE</acronym>
Halflife2.net (mostly on the Source Editing and Development forums)
<acronym title='Mod Database'>ModDB</acronym> (headquarters for all mods great and small; now with regular podcasts, video streaming support and tutorials)
Nuclear Dawn (dev and public forums)
ModMatic (Single-player Half-Life 2 mods discussion; slow burner run by Adam Foster and pals)
Gamasutra, GameSetWatch, Game Politics (read when I can, post very rarely)
<acronym title='Half-Life Short Stories'>HLSS</acronym> forums (a single-player Source mod project)
Tide's Reach forums (an indie single-player Source project)
I have FaceBook but I barely ever use it. If I need to speak to a friend I ring or text or email them. Or go to their house. All you ever seem to do on FaceBook is talk about making plans in the near-distant future to meet up or something, 90% of which never materialises. The only real use people seem to get out of it is as a legalised stalking/'networking' platform.
I am in the official NS Steam group and don't get the chance to use IRC much these days.
P.S. The IPB acronym tag function is broken in FireFox (won't close), so type it in manually if you want to use it.
