<div class="IPBDescription">OMG <3</div>I just saw Iron Man. Still sitting in the theater in fact, gotta love technology these days. Had a private show, gotta love my job some times.
I loved it. Thought I should share/gloat. Stay after credits.
I hate it. Do you know how many webcomics have now done the "oh man, the wacky/zany character welds himself into a metal suit and then discovers that he can't move and it's CRAZY" joke?! ###### off, Iron Man. It's a stupid joke and YOU'RE to blame.

Soon, there will be some storyline, in some comic, probably the X-Men, where someone travels back in time and prevents the whole Civil War from ever happening, and thus preventing the Death of Captain America.
well balls, my gf hates staying til after the credits so we didn't. someone tell me what happens in a spoiler box or something. I'm sure it's something obvious like the bad guy opening his eyes after being defeated or something else hinting at the inevitable sequel.
but yes, loved the movie. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>Samuel L Jackson turns up as Nick Fury, head of SHIELD and approaches Tony telling him he's not the only hero and asking him if he's heard of the 'avengers' program</span>
I'm serious. I can't believe they put something so massive and awesome after the credits, but it just makes me glad we stayed =D
I'm guessing the fact he's only in the film for that after-credits clip will be made up for in the sequel (which they're already working on).
Gotta say, this is the first marvel film I really loved and would consider getting on DVD with my own monies =3
<b>Super Spoilet Edit:</b> Just incase anyone is silly enough not to believe me about the after credits bit... <i><!--coloro:red--><span style="color:red"><!--/coloro-->Youtube Broked the link<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></i>
Why did I know that before I even clicked that link that it would say something along the lines of "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Paramount Pictures Corp."?
She's not lying though.
That's really what's after the credits.
<span style='color:#000000;background:#000000'>I believe that some time in the next couple of years they are going to make an Avengers movie. I suspect this because of the scene at the end of Iron Man, the fact that they are making a proper Hulk movie, and they're also making Captain America and Thor for 2009. All of the above are members of the Avengers.</span>
awww typical. Out of the 3 clips I looked at to prove it before deciding to post that one, the only one youtube took down was the one I used =(
The other ones are kinda poop quality though and the people cheering was cool. When I saw it with my friends yesterday we were the only people who stayed behind long enough to see it... then again we did go at like 2pm on a Sunday =3

Guess I might as well post the rest of that arc. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
One of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. I'm actually contemplating going to see it again, which I've never done before. Robert Downey Jr did an absolutely astounding job.

I loved it. Thought I should share/gloat. Stay after credits.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->I also saw it for free, along with the rest of SEGA's testers. We packed out screen 5 in the VUE in Leicester Square. (Okay, probably 3/4 full, and if it had been the Odeon -one where all the premieres get shown- it would have been more amazing, but still, free film?)
I have to say from very low initial expectations I thought the film wasn't half bad, it was solid entertainment throughout. The CG for once was really well done and didn't have any of that telltale jerkiness you usually expect.

There are also lots of nods to Marvel which fans will like (e.g. Mr. Lee does a Mallrats). Did anyone recognise Stark's ringtone?
P.S. Caboose, do I outgloat you if I also have the T-shirt and the game? (for free)

More than one then?
Only if his duracell powerpacks are low on power
Screw you, Tony Stark.

so yah.
Stay till the end, that is all I know (friend popped online and told me I must go watch ironman, and I must stay after the credits).
Going to try and god Sunday after work.
