<div class="IPBDescription">Oh yea! Rock me sexy Jesus!</div>So, this film did really well at Sundance. Focus Features bought it for $10 Million.
I've asked a couple of my co-workers (I'm a manager/projectionist at a movie theater) what they think of the trailer. And everybody says it looks too stupid to watch. Me on the other hand, I think it looks hysterical. It's so blatently offensive that I can't help laugh.
Here's the trailer, tell me what you think.

If you are daring (And 17 years or older), here's the link to the red banded (R rated) trailer that I am expressly forbidden to attach to any film, regardless of it's rating, at work.

I imagine this movie will be the same, with a very belabored parody that's spot on if a bit obvious at times, interlaced with the most offensive things that either really shouldn't be offensive or are way over the top.
So yeah, kinda do want.
Did anyone else see the title and hope that it was a full length version of Arnie's Hamlet (was it Hamlet? Think so. Maybe MacBeth) you see a clip of in Last Action Hero? Because I did!
Also:
Steve Coogan! Yay!
Anyone who does not know who Alan Partridge is, look it up now.
No one can look at that and tell me it's not the greatest movie *ever*.
So I doubt all the funny bits are in the trailer.
While hardly the best example, look at Dodgeball. The trailer just showed the geeky kid being hit by dodgeballs over and over, and that was pretty much it, whereas (for me) the humour in the film came from those stupid back-and-forths between Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller.
White Goodman: Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now. Save yourself the embarrassment of losing with these losers in Las Vegas, La Fleur.
Peter La Fleur: Alliteration aside, I'll take my chances in the tournament.
White Goodman: Yeah, you will take your chances.
Peter La Fleur: I know. I just said that.
White Goodman: I know you just said that.
Peter La Fleur: Okay, I'm not sure where you're going with this.
White Goodman: Well, I'm not sure where *you're* going with this.
Peter La Fleur: That's what I said.
White Goodman: That's what I'm saying to *you*.
Peter La Fleur: All right.
White Goodman: ...TouchÈ.
....Like I said, not the best film or the best example, but highlights my point.
