I wanna play with my friend in a private server of our own but i cant get the bots to work

can someone help me and tell me what i have to do to get them working?

Bot support for Natural Selection isn't native, and by that I mean the developers didn't include an AI to fight against. It was originally simply a player versus player online game. However certain individuals in the community developed their own Bot support for Natural Selection. The two (from what I remember) that are the most popular are RCBots which allow for bots on either Marines or Aliens and then there is whichBot which allows for bots on the Aliens team.

Below are the links to the websites for each bot system. If you already have a bot system downloaded but you can't configure it correctly, then chances are its probably one of the following bot systems and you just have to figure out which one. If you don't have one yet either one will do, but just be aware of their advantages and disadvantages.
Either way, you'll most likely get a lot of help from their websites/forums.
