This is like asking someone to pick their favorite child. It cannot be done! I like all sorts of donuts. Those brick shaped ones with the maple flavored stuff on top and creme inside, for instance. Or blueberry cake donuts, which I imagine everyone must love. Or the classic chocolate covered one. You know what I don't like? Glazed. Not a fan of glazed donuts. Too sweet and sticky.
um....nope, I can't choose my faviorite one,but I can tell you my least fav,choconut *yuck* <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/asrifle.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::asrifle::" border="0" alt="asrifle.gif" /> o

Agreed. It would be easier to list the types of donuts I don't like.
- Liquorice topped (ew)
- Powdered (too messy)
- Those glazed ones tycho mentioned (I know ALL donuts are bad for me, but i'd rather not eat something that tastes like a ball of sugar loosely held together by more sugar)
- Anything with an apple filling (nothing wrong with apple, I just don't want it in my donut)
- Anything with coconut or coffee
- Ones filled with razorblades
Other than those mentioned above... all of these are good.

There's no reason to cut yourself off from awesome stuff like alcohol and donuts unless you don't have enough willpower to stop yourself from completely overindulging and wrecking your health and happiness. Most things are fine in moderation. If when people say something is bad for you they mean it's bad if you go overboard, well, yeah. Don't go overboard. That's no reason to completely avoid something.

You see, it's not that one donut won't hurt you. Rather, it's the attitude that caused one to eat it that reflects on their ignorance. If you'll eat a donut, more than likely you don't care about your health to begin with.
Listen, buddy, the only thing in a donut that can hurt you is some fat and a crapton of sugar. Fat's not a problem if you watch your intake. Sugar's not a problem if you keep your teeth healthy (unless all your calories are sugar, but then you're not eating in moderation, are you?).
I guess I can thank you for opening my eyes to the psyche-destroying powers of donuts, though. I didn't realise eating dessert one every three months was cultivating an unhealthy frame of mind. I guess all that willpower and self control that I have, that keeps me from becoming a fatty or from rotting my teeth away with sugary food and drink, actually counts for NOTHING because every once in a blue moon I eat a donut and so somehow my healthy body, which is healthy RIGHT NOW and as far as I know was going to STAY HEALTHY, is going to wither away and die because my attitude reflects on my ignorance. Apparently by eating a donut I suddenly don't care about my health. Go figure!

I don't think you understand how the human body works. If you can clearly explain to me how this "state of mind" is going to turn my currently healthy body into a jiggling pile of fat like the people in WALL-E, I'll forever forego donuts, but right now it sounds like you have no idea how to stay healthy beyond "never eat anything bad." Don't misconstrue common sense and wisdom with fear. As already pointed out if you choose to put food into your body that has no nutritional value (like donuts) then more than likely your mindset is going to allow you to eat other junk, and the effects will be cumulative.
The reason you're "perfectly healthy" is your youth, and probably good genes. Rest assured, how you treat your body over the course of time will make a difference.
And please, don't even think I have "no idea how to stay healthy" other than eating right - my knowledge of the human body and particularly exercise physiology go far beyond that. I've got seven marathon medals hanging on my wall and I earned every damn one of them.
