Lerk and Barrel Roll Reflect

This may be too far out of the NS flavor, but I was just thinking about the discussions on how lifeforms might behave in NS2 with the fade back to being the teleporting assassin and the lerk taking over movement but being a glass cannon.

I don't know if it would actually be fun, but if you had an ability on the lerk that took ~1/2 its adrenaline and would reflect HMG and LMG fire, and maybe partially SG blasts, it might end up being fun and would create a situation where the best gun was actually the shotgun (considering the fact that fades will have teleportation to get away, likely before dots like the HMG can take them out). It would encourage diversification of weapons more, because fades and lerks would need shotguns to take them out, and since shotgun would be the best weapon, and because it's the hardest to use, it would be in keeping with the concept of rewarding players for creating good gameplay (similar to how jetpacks are much better than heavy armor, but are much harder to use).

Just a thought.

How does it fly with harder than metal wings?

Yeah this sounds like a cool move.
Zoom around a corner, barrel roll + focus = win. Or you could hit it dueling with jps right as you think they shotgun you.
Also it could be used so lerks can't be camped so easily if they want to leave some vent and fly somewhere else.
No metal wings. It just alters the aerodynamics such that the bullets go around it. Or nanites.
    Also, Barrel Roll.

    Why not just use Umbra?

Because creating a game mechanic for a situation where you're in midair and unable to target yourself with umbra would allow the lerk more freedom for the acrobatics I was arguing it should be permitted as a way of focusing movement skill more directly on the lifeform in the changes made in NS2.

becouse umbra is ineffective, its too stationary, and it dont cover enough,
sadly.. becouse of first i heard of umbra i thought of a sort of "wall" that blocks half the bullets who come through it. ( wink wink, devs )
and that it would slow down marines when theyre in... i mean, it can stop bullets! but marines dont have any effect
