Want some coffee?

<div class="IPBDescription">I may have to get back to you on that one...</div>We have an espresso machine at our house. I like to drink coffee, so I've gotten into the habit of putting milk in the steamer/heater then grinding coffee and getting my mug etc ready while that heats up. Today I put some milk in, wandered outside to look at the cat for a few seconds, then <i>completely forgot I was making coffee</i>. I went to check on the washing machine, found it finished, then went outside and put it up on the line. I even spent a few minutes wandering around listening to music. As I finish and walk back up the stairs I think "Hmm, I should make myself a coffee... Wait... didn't I already start making myself a coffee?"

I walk back inside to find the coffee machine still on, desperately trying to heat whatever vestiges of milk remained into a nuclear fusion. I turned it off and started laughing sadly. This is the mess I'm about to clean up (and then have another go at making coffee).
