Different Types of Attacks

1) Ranged
a) Instantaneous - Bullet, high range (LMG, parasite, HMG, shotgun, OC)
b) Explosive - Grenade Launcher, Bile Bome, Fade Missile Attack
2) Melee - bite, swipe, knife
3) Area Effect
a) Spherical - Lerk Spores, Umbra, SC, DC, Siege Cannon
b) Linear - Onos Stomp
The Developers could implement more types of attacks... i dont have any suggestions yet, but maybe a linear area effect attack is in order. for hallway control. Maybe it's too much.

Slower projectile would be fun. Slow, high damage area-effect projectiles.
The slowness of the object would give the marines/aliens enough time to react and get the hell out of the blast radius. This would be good for taking hallways. Just shoot the shdaep, watch everyone clear.
I was thinking a linear area-effect damage. Maybe the Lerk can do a linear spore cloud or a spherical spore cloud. I think the Onos has Charge, which is a linear AE damage. But, I've never mastered it, so I never did much damage.
