I'm going to break the cycle and say that I usually think twitter is stupid, but in this case it's actually really nice to see. We get updates on why the servers down and quick answers to some questions. That <i>is</i> pretty awesome.

Right after we sent the newsletter the site was choked up for a bit but it didn't seem to be due to too many users. This started happening when we added the Twitter feed to the front page so we're just testing.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
I know this thread is slightly dead, but rather than posting a new thread I'll just resurrect this one, and I just wanted to bring a little more attention towards the devs that I also LOVE the twitter updates. I follow them everyday.
It really helps to engage with the community, release small amounts of information and news seamlessly, and show the community progress without having to take a lot of time out of your days to formulate a news post with a bunch of information in it. I would much rather see small twitter updates all through the day, and let you guys spend more time working on the game than creating larger news updates.
I <b>HATED</b> checking the site everyday looking for a news update, and sometimes going several weeks without seeing anything. It just made someone like me feel like I can't see any progress, and therefore lessens my level of interest and/or involvement in the development.
So, this is more of a THANK YOU post, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates them/it. Keep it up.
Very true, I guess I need to get some sort of Widget ! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

I really like the sense of progress from little updates.
Also, the alien egg cluster and selecting spawn point sounds cool!
Keep it up!
