Jump to desktop!

Today I has installed ns v3.2 and it has appeared on my steam game list
when I double click on it to run
it was successful to open the game, but, in a second it jump back to desktop
no matter how many times I tried to click the system bar "hl.exe" to open ns, I only hear some music for a second and it will jump back to desktop for me
Is there any option to solve this problem?
pc spec:
XP
intel core 2 duo E4500 2.2G
asus HD 3650 display
4gb ram
