But as like a vehicle vehicle, like a Tank/A.P.C., no.....what would the aliens have in return? Also, NS1/2 are more of an indoor games, so not much room for driving.

well but what if you could build (as commander) not vehicles at all but man able machinegun positions if the aliens are rushing so that a marine hops in behind some sandbags or what ever is more supposed scifi and fires a heavy .50cal to defend against a few onos.
alien counterpart could be some manable acid spike towers or whatever because the IA turrets in game are slow and underpowered and it would be a hell of a fun to fire 300 rounds out of an MG "bunker" into an onos ^^
or if this is to revolutionary what about upgrading the AI turrets for resources maybe 10 res to upgrade a normal chaingun turret du double fire power or aiming speed. this would give the game more ability to play defensive and dont get overrunned by bilebombing goergies ^^
Nasdero, those are perhaps the worst ideas I've heard since I registered on the NSFORUMS. There is a reason the OC and turrets are so weak, to facilitate offense instead of turtling. What you're suggesting is a turtlematch.
well ok turtle matches are no furn i agree but the idea with something that a marine could control or an alien would be nice and the idea of dropping turrets over the map (smaller ones) that rines can drop is altou8gh nice ^^
I think little space shuttles would be good (1-2 People) which could dock/undock on different sides of a space station, marines could launch surprise assaults that way.
Mmm, i see the problem that most ns maps are cramped in relation to movement space, so unless the vehicle was human width, making it therefore look lols, yah party.
lol lets do some marine scooter ^^ 1 driver makes a hellride through the hive room and 1 guy sitting with an hmg at the back giving some bullets to everything thats moving this would be an awsome screenshot ^^ of course before they drive into a web and an onos eats the whole scooter ^^
so as far as everyone likes the scooter idea lets pretend on it as some kind of speacial marine weapon and if both driver and gunner have jetpack they can lift it!!! and if they have havy its an armored scooter!! but i want the headlight of it switchable and i want breaking lights!! and an indicator that the aliens can see where it will turn next and the onos has to wait at the crosswalk!!
and of course i want a standalone upgrade where there is just 1 driver with a siege canon on his scooter
