I Don't think it's the ready room, I think going to the ready room counts as a death which would get rid of the parasite. But I dunno, I think it's the commander really.

the weird thing is that it actually moved down in a steady motion and then after it had gone a certain distance down it would reappear in the top

sorta sounds like another sprite bug (there are alot of em)

for instance as a marine motion traking often dosn't show up
or I was playing a 1 v 1 in my lab and I had fd up the alien, I was taking out his hive, and when ever I he was about to respawn my motion traking wen't crazy (I think it was traking him as hew came in from spec mode, it was very od)
