Can Natural Selection work with my Half-Life Source? I get tried installing it in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\elite_energizer\half-life source but it doesn't show up on the steam game list. Help anyone?

no.

You must own, and have installed, Half Life one. HL Source is a completely different engine.

If you do not own HL, and do follow through and make the purchase for all of $10, then make sure you have it FULLY installed in steam by playing the training mission before installing NS.

You need Half-Life 1. Half-Life Source works with a different engine.

My friend has the CD of Half-Life and when I trying installing it installs itself somewhere else on the computer like programfiles/Half-life. I lost its serial key, is it possible I can still play Natural Selection with a non-steam registered product?

not if you really want to play with people.

(aka, yes it is do able, no there are not many, if any, servers that support it, no I am not going to explain how)


Drop the $10 and buy it from steam.
