Fade + Blink Freeze

Hi,
I thought this was just my PC being weird until someone else on a server said they had the same issue so I thought I'd bring it here so people are aware of it / I can find a solution...
Basically, NS runs fine with no issues at all, apart from when I'm a fade and use blink.
Eventually, while playing 'well' as a fade (ie. blinking around fast, quickswitching between blink and swipe, etc, bunny-hopping, etc.), my game will ALWAYS freeze. From observing when it freezes, it has something to do with my mouse moving, and pressing 2/3 buttons at once on the keyboard?? I don't have this issue in any other HL1 mods though, or any other games, even though they require a lot of keyboard presses.
At a guess it's when my computer would normally 'beep' at me for pressing too many keyboard buttons at once - but in NS it just freezes.
My keyboard is a PS2 connection (not USB) if that makes a difference?
Running windows XP, AMD system, Nvidia graphics card, logitech ps2 keyboard, logitech usb mouse....
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I can't play fade :'(

Use +movement for blinking/leaping instead of quick switching. IIRC it is default bound to R.
